I saw a t-shirt with the Beautitudes on it the other day and it made me think of this Bible Study. We need to have a Scotty-Co/Streit-Perham get together!

Our Bible Studies interpretation of the Beatitudes in Matthew 5:3-12 -
The Lord God draws close and protects and strengthens those who meekly fall before Him and realize how they are in complete need of Him.// Do not fret you humble at heart for you shall be rewarded at the of days.// Those who seek to live for and be like God will have their spiritual needs fulfilled.// Happy are you if you are generous beyond obligation, then God will show you favor beyond what you deserve also.// If you think good and moral thoughts and are selfless in motive, then you will be enlightened by Jesus.// Those who try to stop conflict or avoid causing it will be happy and peaceful and true children of God.// Those who are put down for listening and having a relationship with God, you will be blessed and rewarded in heaven.// You should be happy when people throw crap at you because you take a stand for Jesus. Have a big party, go crazy because this is not a bad thing for you at all because there is a huge blessing for your sacrifice. Many have gone before you and sacrificed for the same message you speak, they got treated bad too.

Hello Caitlin, I’m Nate, the guy in the video, and think you have been in contact with Valerie or Cassie, but i think we sort of met once Our first Bible Study get together will actually be this Tuesday the 26th out at the fire-bowl that is across the street from Streit in the grass. We hope to see you and all the others over there to sort of start at 7 o’clock.

Hi Caitlin! I can relate – when I first came to WSU I was pretty apphrensive about meeting strangers (I still am sometimes), but the Lord helped me overcome that. So I am confident that your desire to walk out your faith in Christ will win out in the end, just like it did for me.

Something I love about what God does with our group is He helps us to appreciate everyone who walks through our doors – I feel it, and I see it time and time again. It makes sense, since Jesus gave Himself as a sacrifice for all men, because He loves all men and wants them to turn to Him for salvation. So His church, if we are obedient, should be beckoning and welcoming people into the Kingdom of God – and our lives as a consequence! Praise God that this is strong at CCF.

Hi Im an incoming freshmen who wants to be involved with the Christian student community at WSU.Im shy when it comes to strangers but I definetly dont want to let that keep me from keeping active in my faith.Im looking forward to activities with CCF
