Pastor Joe came to Moscow to attend the University of Idaho and at the time didn’t realize the call God had on his life. After several years of studying and half a dozen majors, Pastor Joe graduated from UI in 1997, and in 2001 from the College of Ministry Training. He was ordained as campus pastor of Living Faith Fellowship in 2001, taking on the ministry started by Pastor Phil Vance in 1984. Pastor Joe is passionate about the reality of God sweeping through our campuses and places of influence, and seeing every student impacted by the lives of the Christians around them. He is also a talented worship leader, teacher, and speaker and considers campus ministry in this region to be his life-long calling.

Suzanne Fitzgerald has a drive to see people established in the family of God. She worked in campus ministry in Bellingham before graduating from Western Washington University in 2002. Responding to God’s call to be a missionary, Suzanne came to Moscow, ID to work with the Chi Alpha ministry at UI. While there she was actively involved with spreading the Gospel to college students. She loves to train up leaders and serve in the areas of hospitality and evangelism.

During Suzanne’s time working with Chi Alpha, she met Pastor Joe. After courting Suzanne, Pastor Joe asked her to marry him in August of 2003. They were married that November, and now have three adorable children: Liam, Anna, and Judah. They enjoy their lives together in campus ministry and are seeing the multiplication of their ministries together. Joe and Suzanne live directly between the two campuses they minister to, and are looking forward to many more years of building people into the family of God.
