For those interested in becoming Members of Living Faith Fellowship, The Carpenter Series provides an introduction to the important Scriptural and doctrinal perspectives held by LFF. It would be our delight for you to become a part of our family of faith!

The Carpenter Series is our Biblical foundations class that helps build lives to be more like Jesus. When Jesus walked on the earth, His occupation was that of a carpenter. He likely may have built furniture or houses ~ taking pieces of wood or stone, that on their own may not have seemed useful, and transforming them into something of value and purpose. He possibly would have repaired broken chairs, mended fences, reinforced sagging roof lines, and made toys for young children.

Jesus did much the same in His ministry, only instead of working with wood or stone, He touched hearts. He took lives that may have seemed of little value and built them up to give them hope and meaning. He repaired broken hearts, healed the sick, strengthened the weary, and blessed the children. His ultimate act of love came as the very tools He used in His livelihood, a hammer and nails, were used to sacrifice His life for our sin that we might be saved from eternal death.

God’s desire is to save you, build you up, strengthen and bless your life, to give you hope, purpose, and direction. From the Book of Ephesians we learn that we are to “. . . hold to the truth in love, becoming more and more in every way like Christ, who is the head of His body, the church.” (Ephesians 4:15 NLT) We want to be like Christ, the Carpenter. It is our desire that He would use us, the ministries of this Church, and The Carpenter Series as tools to help you fulfill this in your life.

Whether you have never heard much about Jesus, have recently accepted Him as your personal Savior, or have been walking with Him for years, we believe The Carpenter Series has something for everyone. It is our prayer that this class may serve you and help to build you up in your relationship with Jesus.

On the other side of this page is a detailed description of The Carpenter Series. If you would like to begin the class, please sign up at the Information Center. If there is anything we can do for you, please let us know. It would be our joy to serve you.
